Recently we had a new customer walk in and inquire about our range of small campervans.
New to the world of campervans our customer had just recently retired. She wanted to enjoy her newfound free time by exploring the UK in a compact campervan whilst visiting friends and family along the way.
One major requirement was her desire for a small compact platform. Our customer was used to driving small compact cars and didn’t want to change to a larger vehicle. High on the list through was not having to compromise. She wanted all the refinements of a bigger campervan condensed into a conveniently small package.
Our customer was a solo traveller who would only occasionally travel with a friend so a one or two berth campervan would prove ideal. A non negotiable requirement was the need for the vehicle to be ULEZ compliant.

Fully fitted out with a pop top elevating roof and a generously appointed interior spec, the Peugeot ticked the boxes.
The long bench seating arrangement set out along the driver side provides plenty of space to put your feet up and relax when parked up. Our customer liked the fact our conversion was well fitted out with essentials she would need for comfortable touring.
There would be occasions when she would be off-grid, away from mains power and so a dedicated leisure battery and a means to charge it was a must. A split charger system diverting power from the engine alternator and a roof mounted solar panel provided the perfect solution for a self sufficient setup.
A gas powered hob with an integrated sink takes care of all the cooking and washing up needs. Mains hook up with onboard leisure battery charger allows for battery charging and powering of the 230volt electrics when connected on site. While the leisure battery also takes care of powering the fridge and Led lighting during those offgrid nights away from home.
For our customer, the deal clincher for her was the fact that this little micro campervan had a brand new conversion and was built on a bang up to date platform which was no bigger than the compact car she was already driving.
Furthermore, she could drive this vehicle daily, removing the requirement for two vehicles which would save her money over time.
Offering near stellar MPG capability and being fitted with a modern Euro 6 engine also allowed for travel within ULEZ ( ultra low emission zones ) areas across the UK such as London. This was a non negotiable requirement for our customer who wished to visit friends and family without attracting a daily charge who were all based within the ULEZ zone in London .

We specialise in both the Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo and offer two conversion layouts, both of which maximise the vehicles internal space.

Either a traditional rock and roll bed layout with kitchen units running along one side of the vehicle, giving four travelling seat belts. Or a bench seat layout with an integral pull out frame to increase the bed width when required.

Both layout options offer the same comprehensive electrical specifications. Led lighting, Leisure battery, mains hook up, fridge, battery charger and leisure battery voltage meter plus 12volt charger points for tech.

A single burner hob and integral sink and the all-important pop top roof which gives ample headroom inside make the difference between a day van to a true campervan.
Together with a handy underfloor storage area, perfect for stowing deck chairs and equipment, these little micro campers certainly have lots to offer.

Having a solar system installed to keep your batteries topped up takes the stress out of camping. We can fit solar to any of our vehicles. For off grid camping a quality solar panel will maintain the 12volt fridge and other systems onboard, extending your off grid touring capability and removing any woes concerning flat batteries when the vehicle is laid up and not in use.
