An introduction to the Toyota Alphard

The Toyota Alphard is a popular campervan here in the UK. The Alphard has established itself as our bestselling small campervan over the last decade, not least due to its value for money price tag. Few, if any other campervans in the UK offer quite what the Alphard does for the price point.  

All Toyota Alphard’s are imported, originating from Japan.  In Japan, the Alphard was conceived to spearhead the luxury MPV market, taking on rivals such as Nissan with their Elgrand model.

All Alphard’s are 7 or 8 seater people carriers with automatic transmissions. Powered by refined petrol engines with both 2.4litre and 3.0litre options. We specialise in suppling the 2.4litre model, specifically because this engine has a timing chain with no service interval’s, the 3litre model has a timing belt which requires regular replacement. The 2.4litre engine is also the most fuel efficient of both engine options.

For the series 2 (2008 onwards) Alphard’s the 2.4Litre engine also benefits from a sublime 7 speed automatic transmission.  Whichever model you choose, the Alphard offers a superbly refined driving experience coupled with legendry reliability.
