We recently had an inquiry from a customer looking for a ULEZ ( Ultra Low Emissions Zone) compliant campervan. The customer wanted to travel into London and other low emission zones across the UK without attracting a daily ULEZ charge. Their current vehicle was no longer compliant and so an upgrade was required.
Over the last 12 months we have seen an increasing number of customers who either live within the expanding London ULEZ perimeter or whom travel into inner London on a regular basis.
Many older motorhomes and campervans do not comply with ULEZ and so for those who already live within the ULEZ perimeter this is proving a frustrating problem which facilitates a necessary upgrade of their vehicle.
Having discussed the customers needs and budget two things became apparent. Firstly, sourcing a modern campervan which is ULEZ compliant at a sensible price point is actually more difficult than you might think.
Secondly, we had a viable solution.

As a general rule, diesel powered campervans will need to be Euro6 or newer to be ULEZ compliant while petrol campervans must be Euro 4 or newer.
